Sloan Lake, also referred to as Sloan's Lake, is a central focus to Sloan's Lake Park. This park is 177-acres and is the city's second largest park in Denver. It features two playgrounds, basketball courts, tennis courts, multiple athletic fields, trails and picnic areas.

The history of the land the lake is on was once the land of a homesteader, Thomas Sloan, and was used to raise cattle. Upon digging an irrigation well, Sloan hit an aquifer which flooded the land with water, eventually creating Sloan Lake.

The Performing Arts Stage is packed with performers displaying cultural dance traditions and music. Other stages host various types of musical performers and bands, as well as martial arts for a non-stop entertainment experience.
